Moroccan mint tea

A Moroccan teapot is not only elegant and decorative, but you can also make real Moroccan mint tea in such a metal pot. You do this by putting two teaspoons of green tea and four generous teaspoons of sugar in the pot. Put the teapot on low heat and pour in boiling water. When the tea rises, add some fresh mint leaves and then the tea can be drunk. If you don't want the mint flavour to be too strong, fish out the leaves after a few minutes.

Moroccan sugar bowls with hats

Moroccan tea should not only be accompanied by a Moroccan teapot, but of course also by a beautiful, engraved, metal tray, handmade tea glasses and you can also buy those cute Moroccan sugar bowls with such a pointed lid like a cap. Complete the experience with coloured cushions with embroidery and mirrors and perhaps a pretty, Arabic lantern.

A Moroccan lifestyle afternoon

Is your holiday over but want to keep the holiday feeling for a while? Then invite some girlfriends over for a cup of Moroccan tea and make it a Moroccan lifestyle afternoon. Brew authentic Moroccan mint tea in your Arabic teapot and surprise the company with sweet, Oriental treats, such as baklava or dates. Weather permitting, you can sit on colourful cushions outside on the terrace and light your open-faced, Oriental lantern lamp. A stick of fragrant incense completes the ambience.

Teapots as birthday gifts

Such an exotic afternoon could be such a success that your girlfriends will also want those teapots and those handmade tea glasses. And, of course, the recipe for Moroccan tea. Then you won't have to think long when it's one of their birthdays; there are plenty of beautiful, Moroccan goodies you can order from Safaary to surprise them with. That way, before you know it, a fun tradition is born: a Moroccan tea session every month. Nice and relaxed!
