Tamegroute pottery

This beautiful Moroccan pottery was made in the village of Tamegroute. In Berber, Tamegroute literally means 'the last village before the desert', as Tamegroute lies just before the Sahara in the southern part of Morocco. Can you see yourself walking around there? While the camels are waiting outside, you walk past the potters who are busy turning Tamegroute and Tamegroute bowls by hand on their potter's wheels. You witness how that beautiful Tamegroute bowl and that gorgeous Tamegroute vase are handmade.

Moroccan green pottery

Originally, the Tamegroute Morocco crockery is green, the colour of nature that beautifully matches the shades of green that are currently found in trendy contemporary interior design trends, which you have probably seen passing by in home magazines or on TV. Such a beautiful Tamegroute pot and Tamegroute bowls on a table with such a beautiful green wallpaper with large leaves, flowers or a plain green paint shade in the background, creating a breathtaking ton-sur-ton in your interior that radiates tranquillity. The Tamegroute bowl adds to the serene relaxed atmosphere that you often only experience when you are actually on holiday in a beautiful country like Morocco. When you eat from a Tamegroute plate, you bring this atmosphere into your own home.

Tamegroute mustard

A new colour, Tamegroute yellow, was added to the tradition of making the, originally green tableware a few years ago. A warm colour, totally appropriate for the place where it is made. Yellow or ochre yellow, the colour that reminds you of the warm sands of the desert. The colour of the Sahara through which nomads travel with their camels, in search of an oasis. Looking for the place where desert travellers meet, eat together from Moroccan bowls, where the camels can drink and stories are exchanged. Tamegroute mustard yellow stimulates your imagination, making you a traveller in your own home. This beautiful colour combines beautifully with traditional green, giving your tableware a vibrant accent. A tableware with small imperfections that give the yellow cups, bowls and platters a charm all their own.

Festive food from Moroccan tableware

If you really want to bring that festive holiday feeling to your own home, why not organise a party for all your dearest friends whom you invite to your house to eat Moroccan-style and with Moroccan hospitality. On a warm summer evening, the beautiful green platters are invitingly set with delicious snacks on the table. A romantic Tamegroute candelabra atmospherically lights the table while the house is full of enjoyment and conviviality. Friends laugh and talk, memories are made with sultry music in the background. Buying Tamegroute is not just buying a dinner service. You are bringing a piece of craft, history and atmosphere into your home. Beautiful unique pottery, handmade for you on the edge of the desert.
